Aid for reflection

Four Elements

The circle of lines represents a wind rose. Everything starts in the east, where the sun rises. The four elements are connected to a direction in the following order:

      • Water – East
      • Fire – South
      • Air – West
      • Earth – North

The tears have sharp points: life can be hurtful.

The green form between the tears represents the ‘ma’. It has the form of a four-leaf clover, which brings luck. The space around and between the wind rose and the tears represents ether.

The star in the middle is a resting point, to focus on between your reflections on the four elements.

Four Concepts

The four concepts are independent of the four elements. The order for reflection:

      1. Freedom
      2. Success
      3. Power
      4. Love

This wheel can be part of an exercise in which you first write down all the associations you have with each concept.

The second part is answering several questions, which will then reveal inner thoughts and deeper feelings to you.

Suggestions

You can project these images on a screen by using this site or by using PowerPoint slides (see button below).

The PowerPoint contains black and white images to print on A4 paper and use on a desk.

Some slides with the content of the tears facing the centre can be printed on a cloth to use as a mat to stand on.

Reflecting standing up gets you closer to your soul.
